On 23rd October 2019, the Development Corridor Partnership (DCP) Project Team at the Sokoine University of Agriculture together with the Project Leader from UNEP-WCMC, Prof. Neil Burgess and an Advisor to the Project, Ms. Christine Tam, held its project progress meeting in the College of Forestry, Wildlife and Tourism seminar room. The meeting among others discussed the project progress to-date and received presentations from PDRAs and RAs who involved in the project. The DCP Tanzania team is doing its research in the Southern Agricultural Growth Corridor of Tanzania (SAGCOT) with the aim of building capacity among researchers, practitioners, government and private sector actors to deliver sustainable development corridors. This includes increasing availability of the best tools and analyses and the skill to use them.
