The Department of Ecosystems and Conservation provides students with instruction and expertise in a diverse area of ecological and biological sciences by conducting special project research. On 25th and 26th January 2023, all undergraduate students under the supervision of academic staff in the Department of Ecosystems and Conservation presented their special project research. Most of the research projects fall in the area of Botany, Ethnomycology, Beekeeping, Bee resources, Natural and plantation forest silviculture, Tree improvement, Agroforestry, Forest protection, Forest soils, Climate change, Biodiversity, Integrated ecosystem assessment, Ecological impact assessment and planning, Environmental flows assessments, Integrated, Invasive species biology, Detection and control, Ecology, Restoration and Eco – physiology.
