The Illegal Wildlife Trade (IWT) Challenge Fund provides funding to innovative and scalable solutions to reduce pressure on wildlife from illegal trade and reduce poverty in developing countries. Proposals must align to one or more of the four project themes: (1) Reducing demand; (2) Ensuring effective legal frameworks; (3) Strengthening law enforcement; and (4) Developing sustainable livelihoods. The IWT Challenge Fund supports projects with different grant sizes depending on each project stage, ranging from £20 thousand to £1.5 million. Projects should be implemented in Sub–Saharan Africa, East and Southeast Asia and Latin America. The deadline for applications is 22 August 2022. Illegal Wildlife Trade Challenge Fund
