At the end of the course students should be able to:

Concepts of the available natural resources, uses and their dynamics, sectoral resources management approaches, their limitations and opportunities for adoption of agroforestry which is the integrated, complementary and multi-benefit resources management systems; agroforestry systems classification, technologies and their management; role of agroforestry in resources use efficiency, resources conservation, recycling, improvement, sustainability, products multiplication and diversification including carbon sequestration, environmental amelioration and climate change.
