Tanzania per capita income increases by 5%

According to the BoT’s report on zonal economic efficiency, per capita income increased from Sh 2.7o million in 2022 to Sh 2.8 million

Recent statistics from Bank of Tanzania (BoT) reveals that per capita income in the country rose by 5% over the past year, swift economic growth being mentioned as the driving factor in Dar-es-salaam, Northen and the lake zone. the reports revealed the increase from Sh 2.7o million in 2022 to Sh 2.8 million.

Released october 5, the report shows that the average income of Dar-es-salaam residents rose more than other parts of the country, from Sh 4.81 to Sh 5.39 million in 2022.
