Successful candidates of the Department of Forest and Environmental Economics will have ability to:
· Use contemporary knowledge in economic principles in managing the environment and natural resources
· To formulate and implement environmental policies and perform project appraisal
· To design and implement environmental impact assessment
· To solve problems related environmental and resource economics using various scenarios for informed decision making,
· Critically apply the insights gained from the economic methods used in the temporal and inter-temporal theories of resource allocation to the analysis of natural resource use problems
