On March 23-24, 2023, the Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) conducted a training workshop for Heads of Academic Departments from both Public and Private owned Universities in Tanzania at Magadu Hotel Mzinga Cooperation. The training aimed to capacitate the Heads of Departments to ensure that they provide quality service to clients as well as improving work performance in their day to day activities. This training Workshop was crucial to enrich them with the necessary skills, techniques and knowledge in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the university’s operations in Tanzania. The training was therefore a valuable opportunity for Heads of Departments to share experiences and learn new strategies and practices to increase performance in their respective roles which in turn will enhance better performance of the Universities and the Education Sector in the Country.
