Following the appointment done by the Vice Chancellor of Sokoine University of Agriculture, Prof. Raphael Chibunda, The Department of Forest Resources Assessment and Management is pleased to extend warm congratulations to Prof. J.J Kashaigili on his appointment as the Director of Postgraduate Studies, Research, Technology Transfer, and Consultancy (DPRTC) The appointment, effective from December 20, 2023, to December 19, 2026, comes as a testament to Prof. Kashaigili’s dedication to academic excellence and leadership.
Prof. Kashaigili, previously serving as the coordinator of Research and Publication in the same directorate, brings a wealth of experience and a stellar track record to his new role. His outstanding contributions to research have not gone unnoticed, culminating in his recognition as the Best Researcher of the Year for 2022/2023.
As the newly appointed Director, Prof. Kashaigili is poised to lead the university in advancing its commitment to excellence in postgraduate studies, cutting-edge research, technology integration, knowledge transfer, and impactful consultancy services.
