The Ministry of Natural Resources and Tourism is well prepared to develop and increase the skills of executives and employees within the tourism sector.

While opening the 12th Council Meeting of the National College of Tourism’s Employees, held in Tanga, the Ministry’s Secretary-General, Dr. Hassan Abbasi, said the skills are preparing them to accommodate the increasing number of incoming tourists.

“We will be strict with those lacking good hospitality towards our guests. I commend the College of Tourism for prioritizing hospitality,” said Dr. Abbasi.

He took the opportunity to highlight various achievements in the sector, including the contribution of the “Tanzania: The Royal Tour” film, mentioning that by September, international tourist numbers had increased.

Additionally, revenues have risen from $1.3 billion to $3.1 billion.
