Switzerland Development Cooperation (SDC) collaborates with Tesifa Tanzania (TT) in uplifting the dreams of young girls in Tanzania

Switzerland Development Cooperation (SDC), a non-governmental organization, has collaborated with Sokoine University of Agriculture through the Skills for Employment in Tanzania (SET) program to uplift the dreams of young girls in Tanzania between the ages of 15-20 whose dreams were cut short due to early birth and later abandonment by their partners.

The program director, Jasca Leons Punguti, said that “we are creating opportunities for young people in Tanzania to be self-reliant.” The SET program targets youth aged 15-24, especially young mothers who have left the education system.
