Professor Dos Santos Silayo has been named the Alumni of the Year at Sokoine University of Agriculture. He served at the College of Forestry, Wildlife, and Tourism before becoming the Conservation Commissioner for the Tanzania Forest Service (TFS) and he currently holds the position of Associate Professor in Forest Engineering.
