The College of Forestry, Wildlife, and Tourism extends its heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Gilbert Temba for winning a prize worth TZS 29,999,180 to support his research titled “Quantifying Timber Loss to Promote Sustainable Utilization in Plantation Forests: A Case Study of the Northern Zone and Southern Highlands, Tanzania.” Out of hundreds of submitted proposals, his triumph is attributed to his exceptional skills and knowledge in sustainable forest resource utilization. This achievement serves as an admirable example for other emerging researchers at the College of Forestry, Wildlife, and Tourism.
