Trump’s son talks with Tanzania minister of natural resource on a visit in Arusha tourism attractions

The eldest son of the United States’ retired President Donald Trump, is in Tanzania and voiced his admiration for the country’s tourism attractions.

Mr Donald Trump Junior visited a game reserve near Lake Natron, which is under the Tanzania Wildlife Management Authority (TAWA) in Longido District, Arusha region.

While in the area yesterday, Mr Trump’s son held talks with Natural Resources and Tourism minister Mohamed Mchengerwa, who informed him about the tourism opportunities in the country.

 Mr Mchengerwa used that opportunity to ask Mr Trump Junior to become a tourism ambassador of Tanzania, which, the minister said, has been blessed with many tourist attractions that could not be found anywhere else. The minister also told Mr Trump Junior about the direction of the tourism sector and various investment opportunities in the country.

“Here in Tanzania, we have a good direction towards promoting tourism and attracting more tourists by improving tourism services, including the infrastructure of game reserves,” said the minister.

For his part, Mr Trump Junior, who is a prominent businessman in the US and senior vice president of his father’s big company called Trump Organisation, explained how he was happy to visit Tanzania.

Mr Trump Junior, who is said to have a fortune of $350 million (more than Sh750 billion), promised to visit various places, including the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
