Sida SUPPORTED REFOREST PROGRAMME STUDENTS WAITING FOR COVID 19 VACCINATION AT SUA HOSPITAL
Sokoine University of Agriculture together with the REFOREST Programme organised voluntary vaccination for Forest Sciences PhD students. This was in response to a request made by the students to the Program Coordinator. A total of thirteen students participated in the vaccination process as a measure to protect themselves against COVID19. The students were briefed on the benefits of getting vaccinated and they each individually accepted. Some of the benefits include: (1) protecting an individual from getting serious symptoms when infected by COVID 19 and (2) protecting each other and the people around. In short, we do care about our health and the responsibilities we have far ahead for our countries and are grateful to SUA and REFOREST program for the support.
