The REFOREST PROGRAMME at Sokoine University of Agriculture’s College of Forestry, Wildlife, and Tourism held a seminar aimed at bringing together experts to evaluate and discuss the research findings of REFOREST PROGRAMME students. The sessions were quite fascinating and vibrant and effectively addressed the shortcomings noted by the discussants and examiners assigned to evaluate the student’s research work. Students were encouraged to enhance their work before publication.
I shared two of my research papers from this study project, entitled Ethnobotanical Study on Medicinal Plant Knowledge among three ethnic groups in Peri-urban Areas of south-central Ethiopia, and Local Community Perception on Traditional Medicinal Plant Knowledge Practices and influencing variables among three ethnic groups in peri-urban areas of south-central Ethiopia, respectively.
