Regional accreditation of the Master of Science in Wildlife Management and Conservation Program

The accreditation team from IUCEA has conducted an on-site visit to the Department of wildlife Management, Sokoine University of Agriculture for verification and regional accreditation of the Master of Science in Wildlife Management and Conservation program. The team included expert from Tanzania Commission for Universities, Kenya and Burundi. The purpose of the visit was to gather first-hand information regarding the program (Master of Science in Wildlife Management and Conservation) which is proposed for the Regional accreditation. The team also observed the teaching and learning facilities, engage with management team, instructors, and students.

During this visit, the team has carried out a rigorous examination of a number of program’s related documents. These documents typically include curriculum plans, course materials, student performance data, assessment reports, and many more.
