Research interests:
My research interests are basically focus on the links between biodiversity conservation and livelihood development. These are two mutual related aspects which depends to each other for their sustainability. However, with population increase, especially pro-poor communities who depend to biodiversity there is high need to investigate the optimal level of how both parties will optimize the service from each other. It is in this light that a detail valuation of ecosystem services from biodiversity and efforts necessary for biodiversity conservation need to be modeled.
