Currently the Department offers core and elective courses in the existing College wide BSc. Forestry in the area of forest products and technology. It offers also postgraduate courses the hosted MSc in the Department and electives for others across the University. The Department in the coming five years will offer both short courses, non- degrees, undergraduate and postgraduate a programmes in areas of wood science, forest products technologies and allied sciences. The establishment of the new Bachelor of Science degrees in Wood Science and Technology as well as Certificate and Short courses is ongoing.
